How to create custom event notes within the web app for TakeUp's awareness.
Users can create notes for events that you would like TakeUp to be aware of. Our system will already be tracking the impact on demand that these events may be having, but this is a way for the human-in-the-loop to make sure they pay extra attention to these key dates and make any possible rate bound changes if needed.
When you add an event, you have the option to select the demand impact level. Events can be designated as a demand suppressor (such as a storm) or a demand generator. This helps us assess revenue performance pacing while we review these specific dates. If you are unsure of the possible impact, you can choose the "Information Only Event." Once you have saved the event, a calendar icon will appear in the corner of the selected days.
